Wind farms are an important component in the production of renewable energy. Wind turbines are able to be set up on land as well as at sea. The latest generations produce between 7000 and 9000MW/year against 4000MW/year on average for wind turbines installed ten years ago. The spectacular developments in the field are multifactorial: new generation of machine (generator), blade profile, mast height and optimized production management. Hoisting the wind turbines always higher makes it possible to obtain stronger, laminar and constant winds. The establishment of a wind farm must take into account the environment and the various solutions according to the regions of the world (proximity to local residents, fauna, climatic conditions, etc.). However, care must be taken to ensure a large spacing, so that the wind turbines do not disturb each other due to the wake effect.

Compared to the other types of renewable energy available, solar energy has the advantage of being easy to use and requiring little maintenance. The equipment needed to produce electricity (PV and inverters) have a long life-span. This fact guarantees long-term energy production, making any investment sustainable and worthwhile.

Like a number of the other companies in this field, we envisage local production close to consumers but also the possibility to store energy offering greater consumption flexibility. We have recently started offering charging stations (hydrogen and/or electricity) to increase the range of mobility of a new generation of vehicles.

Photovoltaic power plant

We can build ground-mounted photovoltaic power stations on your unused land or roof-mounted ones on your production plants, office buildings, retail premises, warehouses or carports, for example. We will size them to make the most of the space you have. That way, you will extract more value from your real estate. And it might have other advantages, too—shielding the sunshine in a parking lot, for example.

Container type hydrogen generator and external storage

Renewable energy sources such as wind and photovoltaics make it possible to produce and store energy that is 100% clean. Over the next decade, it is predicted that ‘blue’ hydrogen could replace conventional hydrolysis methods which have proven to consume large amounts of fossil fuels (at a ratio of 1 to 10). Hydrogen usage is currently confined to the industrial sphere (production of ammonia, steel, semiconducteurs, etc). Only a little over 1% is used for mobility. Albeit that the conversion efficiency is relatively low when converting solar energy into hydrogen, this remains a viable alternative when accumulating energy to cover the needs of a few megawatts.

Grid energy storage power station

Working hand in hand with battery manufacturers and with the help of advanced energy conversion and storage technology, the STARCORP Energy Storage System (ESS) offers high-yield energy conditioning to better manage demand, distribution, energy levelling etc. The ESS combines two-way power conditioning and battery devices, site controllers and a cloud management system to provide comprehensive energy storage for residential, commercial and utility usage. EV Charging solution

When it comes to continued energy production and storage, we offer turn-key installation of charging stations for electric vehicles (EVs). These EV charging stations generally consist of one or more ultra-fast chargers offering an output up to 300kW. In addition, these chargers can be paired with one or more energy storage units which are generally controlled remotely. Offering fully autonomous configuration (for rural areas) or to supplement the electrical grid (for urban areas), these energy storage units can be connected to a photovoltaic power plant.
