About us

Innovation is at the heart of our business. The products and/or technology we create and produce for our clients are all derived from our engineers’ multidisciplinary experience and our production unit’s expertise.

The gradual shift from fossil fuels to low-carbon energy sources has caused an upheaval in the way we treat and use energy, whether that be energy production, storage or distribution. Far from being new, two forms of energy are expected to replace fossil fuels over the coming decades :

  • Electricity - We use electricity on a daily basis and consumption is expected to continue growing, especially in the heating and transportation sectors.

  • Hydrogen - mainly used in the chemical, electronics and steel production industries. Derived primarily from ‘gray hydrogen’, hydrogen production is also experiencing a transition and is increasingly being manufactured from ‘green hydrogen’ renewable energy sources. This type of energy is advantageous when used in long-haul or heavy-duty transportation (road, freight, etc.) and can also be used for storage as it has a greater energy density than batteries, but with more significant infrastructure costs that can be reduced when produced on a large scale.

This shift is an important opportunity for STARCORP to put its skills in equipment manufacturing to use (AC/DC, DC/DC converters, pumps, brushless motors, energy storage decides etc.) but also to integrate our energy production, storage and distribution solutions.

In order to facilitate the architecture of an energy production plant, we have containerized several functions (production and / or storage), in order to offer greater flexibility when it comes to integration and design. This type of structure also offers other advantages in terms of evolution and maintainability.
